Second Convention held on Nov 10-12 2006. The topic of that convention was Revelation 3:11 “I am coming quickly. Keep in holding fast what you have, that no one may take your crown”. Convention again held in Shanti Nagar for three days. We thank God that as we had planed and requested, we got able to hold that meetings.
Guest speakers were from Lahore, Faisalabad and Shanti Nagar. A team of 10 persons joined us from Lahore, who took a very active part in helping us in all needs, leading songs; prayers, Bible reading and preaching Word of God, which is “need of the hour”. We expected more people because of First successful convention 2005 so we had to fix tent out side from the church building. We hired tent, sound system, lighting and crockery for 3days. First day meeting was a wonderful and thrilling starting. The guests were Welcomed and given honor by putting flower garlands round their necks. The guests were thanked for giving us their precious time (3days) and providing Word of God (spiritual food) for the audience. Shanti Nagar choir did a wonderful job during meetings for leading songs, people enjoyed singing joyfully. So many people came to attend the services and the Word of God blessed many people and there was much enthusiasm during all the meetings. All the speakers did a wonderful job in preaching. “Gave importance about coming of Christ, we should be prepared so that we may not loose the crown of life and reward. We need to be in Him and faithful up to the end of our lives and only then we can be with Him forever”. So many repented and added to the Lord’s Kingdom. We baptized 17 persons and 12 were restored. Many came on our list to study the Bible thoroughly and then be a part of the church. Some brethren helped us financially to take care of some expenditure. At the end of each night service we offered meal to all those who came to attend the services.
We thank God that we held successful meetings and many new comers learned more perfectly about Jesus Christ. Now we are praying for all our needs regarding the conventions. We request you to keep us in your prayers for this evangelizing program.
